Galatians 5:7-16 – Love Fulfills The Law

We can often think that our ‘right living’ is achieving our favourable standing with God. The more that we do (or don’t do) the better we’ll be. But what really needs to be the focus is living in love. We haven’t been called to a works based relationship, but a loving relationship with Jesus. Loving God and loving others takes care of the law. As we see in our study, it brings us out from bondage and into freedom.

Galatians 5:1-6 – Stand Fast In Freedom

Paul has been in a battle for truth and has been showing his Galatian readers that the only way to be right with God is through faith in Jesus’ work done for you. And this chapter begins with an important statement to hold your ground in grace. Don’t be swayed. Stand fast!

Romans 8:26-39 – God Is For Us!

We finish up this mountain peak of Scripture and look at the reality of God being for us. Since He is for us, what can be against us? Along with that, we see the wonderful truth that nothing can separate us from His love. Bible Text: Romans 8:26-39

Romans 3 – Righteousness Revealed

In this wonderful chapter Paul concludes his trial of humanity to reveal our sin and guilt before God. Yet he doesn’t leave us there. He brings us to the great good news of the Gospel – that we can be righteous before God in spite of our sin and guilt. And it’s all possible through faith in Jesus Christ! Bible Text: Romans 3:1-31
