What is Lighthouse?
Lighthouse (which operated as RCA from September 2023 – June 2024) is our community club for home learners, open to children born in 2019 or earlier. This ministry meets two mornings per week for Bible class and Chapel. Lighthouse will follow a similar operational calendar to RCA, providing 3 terms/opportunities for families to register. This program will require a small fee and parent participation will be optional, pending an interview. What will my child learn about?
Children will engage in the exploration and deep study of God’s word. They will take part in a breadth of activities provided by an instructor and attend a 30-minute chapel led by the pastoral and leadership team of RCC.
When is it in session?
Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:30am
Is it in session all year?
Between September 2024 – June 2025, and Lighthouse Home Learners will run for 3 terms:
Fall Session (11 weeks from October 1 – December 12)
Winter Session (9 weeks from January 14 – March 13)
Spring Session (9 weeks from April 15 – June 12)
Families are always invited to join us for Chapel on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-1130.
