Christians strive to grow and mature in Jesus continually; walking in love, grace, and peace together as we serve Him and remain watchful for His coming.

Christians are called to truly examine whether they are in the faith. A true follower of Christ will show evidence of a transformed life as they walk in a personal relationship with Jesus.

Our prickly problems in life don’t need to be viewed as curses to be removed, but rather blessings to be received as we learn to lean more heavily on Jesus. Our sicknesses are not always a product of sin. Sometimes they are an allowance of God to produce a greater purpose in us.

Christians boast in the fact that we are saved despite our weaknesses. We boast that we have a future and a hope. We boast that though we may blow it day after day and fall short, God will never give up on us.

Paul urges the church to not allow themselves to be put back into the chains of bondage by the Law, but to live in the freedom that Jesus has given us by His death on the cross. In addition, we learn about the suffering that Paul endured for the sake of the Gospel. Jesus didn’t die on a cross to make our lives pleasant in this world. The Gospel is simple: Christ and nothing less, nothing more, and nothing else. Satan is constantly mixing truth with deception and using false apostles and deceitful workers to lead many astray. Christians must not follow others’ interpretations of the Bible, but to read and know the Word of God for themselves.

The mark of a mature spiritual leader is encouraging and building others up. A mark of an immature spiritual leader is puffing themselves up around other people. A Christian’s life is set on making much of Jesus in every area of our lives rather than living for personal gain.
