2 Chronicles 14 – Lord, It Is Nothing For You

Asa is the new king of Judah and he turns things around. He directs people back to the Lord and they are greatly blessed. As an army of a million soldiers comes against them, Asa has such confidence in the Lord, that he calls out and says, ‘Lord, it is nothing for you to help!’ We learn some great lessons and application for us today through Asa’s example.

2 Chronicles 12-13 – Flailing Or Fortified?

As the divided kingdoms of Israel continue to struggle, Rehoboam in the south starts getting a little comfortable in what he has established for himself and he forsakes the Lord. And it’s then that the enemy comes in and takes everything. Rehoboam had been busy fortifying the cities, but he should have focussed on fortifying himself and the nation in the Lord.

2 Chronicles 11 – Fighting The Right Fight

How do you respond when things aren’t going your way? Do you seek to do battle in the flesh, or do you walk in the Spirit and trust the Lord? Rehoboam was ready to fight in the flesh and go against his own brethren until the Lord stopped him. We have to be led of the Lord and sure that we’re not fighting the wrong fight.

Matthew 28:1-8 – Come And See

We take a look at the Resurrection account through the lens of the critic. Many try and disprove the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but is it as simple as they say? We look at the various evidence to show we shouldn’t be fooled into thinking the resurrection never happened.
