The account of Palm Sunday is a familiar passage to many. It’s a time where we see Jesus purposefully moving toward the cross, the very reason that He came to this world. This week between Palm Sunday and Resurrection Sunday is known as passion week or Holy week. This week is named after the Latin word passio, which means suffering or enduring. Jesus suffered much as He willingly and passionately gave Himself for us sacrificially. His love was on display always but was revealed to its fullest when He laid down His life. Palm Sunday sets that process in full swing.
