It’s easy to live in a place of isolation or anonymity. But is that what God intends for us? Is that an adequate way for the church to function? We take a look this morning at the operation of the early church and what they saw as a priority.
Paul builds off his earlier encouragement at the beginning of the chapter to present ourselves as living sacrifices. Here he describes in fuller detail what that life really looks like. Bible Text: Romans 12:9-21
Proverbs talks a great deal about guarding our tongue. Our mouth can get us into a lot of trouble, or it can be of great blessing. This chapter will speak into this truth. Bible Text: Proverbs 18:1-24
John sets out the purpose in the introduction to his letter: “…that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.” Our joy is equated to our fellowship with God. He’s invited us in to enjoy relationship with Him. What a blessing. May you experience fullness of joy as you encounter life in Him. Bible Text: 1 John 1:1-4
