The Storms of Life: John 6:15-21 | Mike Vincent

John 6:15-21 describes the disciples’ struggle on the Sea of Galilee after Jesus sent them ahead. They were caught in a storm and were rowing with difficulty when they saw Jesus walking on the water. Terrified, they initially thought he was a ghost, but he reassured them, saying “It is I; don’t be afraid.” The disciples then took Jesus into the boat, and it immediately reached their destination.

Stewart Karpiuk: The Power of One | John 1:35-42

John the Baptist, seeing Jesus walking by, proclaims “Behold, the Lamb of God!”. Two of John’s disciples, hearing this, follow Jesus who then asks them “What are you seeking?”. After they stay with him for a day, Andrew, one of the disciples, finds his brother Simon and introduces him to Jesus, who then renames him Peter.
