Psalms 110-111 – Why We Worship
Psalm 110 is the most quoted Old Testament passage in the New Testament. It’s a great reminder of who Jesus is. And in Psalm 111 we look at the motivation to worship.

Psalms 108-109 – Help Me Lord
Psalms 108-109 is a cry for the Lord to come and bring help in the midst of difficulty, persecution and injustice.
Job 40-42 – The Restoration Of Job
God continues to show Job the wonders of His creation, displayed through two of His most magnificent beasts – the behemoth and leviathan. It gives Job a greater revelation of the greatness and sovereignty of God and of his own inadequacy to tell God what He should or shouldn’t do. In the end, Job will repent and be restored and given a better end to his life than the beginning.

Psalm 107 – God Our Deliverer
In this chapter we look at God’s faithful deliverance of His people out of various situations: the desert, darkness, distress, and disaster. It reminds us of how God has delivered us and how we should respond in thanks to His goodness.

Psalms 105-106 – God’s Faithfulness
These two Psalms recount the many ways that God has shown Himself faithful to Israel in their history. It’s a reminder to us to count our blessings.

Job 38-39 – Where Were You
Job finally gets his audience with God, but it goes much different than what he had imagined. Instead of God bringing an answer as to the why’s of his suffering, God appears simply as the Answer. Job doesn’t get information about his situation, he gets a revelation of the greatness of God.

Psalms 103-104 – Bless The Lord O My Soul
These Psalms direct us in the praise of the Lord. We have so many reasons to do so – let us not forget all His blessings.

Job 35-37 – Elihu Exalts God
Elihu closes out his speech to Job with a more clear look at the glory and majesty of God.

Psalms 101-102 – Praying For Holiness and Help
In these two Psalms we see a person seeking God to walk in Holiness, and another that is seeking God for help in his difficult situation. What a blessing it is to seek God in every situation of life.

Romans 16:1-27 – Paul The People Person
In the last chapter of Romans, Paul sends his greetings to those in Rome and gives his final words of encouragement. In this study we see that people and relationships were important to Paul.

Job 31-34 – Job And Elihu Sound Off
After Job finishes his last response to his friends, Elihu comes into the mix giving his take and counsel to Job’s situation.

Romans 15:14-33 – Paul’s Example Of Effective Ministry
As Paul moves in to his closing remarks he takes time to express his plans to see the believers in Rome and lays out his ministry objective. There’s many things we can learn through this gospel focussed pioneer like Paul.
