1 Chronicles 22-23 – Preparing For Production

In these chapters we look at how David did all he could to help and support the Temple project by getting things prepared for his son Solomon. Are we working in support of one another? Are you only involved if you get to carry out the work, or are you contributing in ways that simply ensure the work is carried out?

Galatians 5:7-16 – Love Fulfills The Law

We can often think that our ‘right living’ is achieving our favourable standing with God. The more that we do (or don’t do) the better we’ll be. But what really needs to be the focus is living in love. We haven’t been called to a works based relationship, but a loving relationship with Jesus. Loving God and loving others takes care of the law. As we see in our study, it brings us out from bondage and into freedom.

Galatians 5:1-6 – Stand Fast In Freedom

Paul has been in a battle for truth and has been showing his Galatian readers that the only way to be right with God is through faith in Jesus’ work done for you. And this chapter begins with an important statement to hold your ground in grace. Don’t be swayed. Stand fast!

1 Chronicles 20-21 – Compromise And Calamity

David moves through battling enemies to battling himself as he decides to take a census of the people to bolster his confidence in his military might. The problem is he should have been confident in the Lord’s might, and he will pay the price for it. Nevertheless, we see how the Lord is directing through it all to accomplish His purposes.

1 Chronicles 17-19 – Blessings And Battles

We take a look at the Davidic Covenant in chapter 17. It’s a reminder of the many blessings God does in and through David’s life. We’re also reminded in the following chapters that we need to be prepared for the attacks of the enemy. We may be feeling blessed, but the enemy is looking to attack. Be on guard!

Galatians 3:15-29 – The Priority Of The Promise

We continue to look at the futility of the law and why it was never meant to make us right with God. He has provided a better way for us through faith in what He has accomplished for us. We take a look at this in our study here.

Galatians 3:1-14 – The Just By Faith LIVE

Do you ever feel like you need to add something in order to be right with God? We know Jesus saves us, but do you ever think that you need to perfect yourself? Paul challenges those thinking this way and reminds us that the just will live by faith!
