2 Chronicles 33:1-34:28 – The Two Paths Of Manasseh And Josiah
We take a look at two different kings – Manasseh and Josiah. Manasseh did wicked, but Josiah did what was right. Manasseh paid a price for his wickedness, but by God’s grace he eventually humbled himself and was restored. Josiah however prospered greatly for his devotion to God.
Psalms 144-145 – David’s Points Of Praise
David recognizes how good the Lord has been through all his ups and downs. He sees that it’s God who has established him and the nation. And it causes him to sing forth and declare the greatness of God.
2 Chronicles 26-27 – Uzziah’s Pride
King Uzziah begins well in his reign, but soon began to think he was the reason for his success. He became prideful and overstepped his boundaries. And the Lord had to deal with Him by some interesting means. It’s a reminder for us that God is our strength, and He should get all the glory for all we do.
2 Chronicles 25 – Having A Loyal Heart
King Amaziah comes on to the scene and it says he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a loyal heart. And that made all the difference in the world. He was led into compromise and eventually puffed up with pride. A divided heart will lead you into unnecessary trouble.

Paul builds off his earlier encouragement at the beginning of the chapter to present ourselves as living sacrifices. Here he describes in fuller detail what that life really looks like.

Solomon gives many comparisons in this chapter between the foolish person and the righteous one. The righteous walk in God’s ways and enjoy blessing and happiness. The foolish go their own way and are heading toward disaster.
