Pastor Brent shares the biblical view on giving. God is the ultimate giver who gave us His Son to save us, reconcile us, adopt us into His family, and cause us to be co-heirs with Christ. God’s people are not to give out of obligation, but cheerfully as worship to our God who has given us everything we need and more.
Our zeal as Christians must be more than good intentions, rather, it needs to be carried to completion so that it may bear fruit both in our lives and in the lives of others. Giving is not to be a grudging affair, but one of gladness and gratefulness as we ministry to one another through our giving.
Israel continues to be an important part of God’s plan today and in the days to come.
Christian mothers reveal Jesus to their children through their daily sacrificial love and grace. Every single life is intrinsically valuable and loved by God; therefore, our church will act as a house of refuge to protect and provide assistance to anyone who finds themselves in an unplanned pregnancy.
God desires that we give cheerfully because His Word says that all we have is already from the Lord. When we give, we are acknowledging that our life is an offering to the Lord; we can trust God to provide for His people.
Believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit are the be blameless, upright, fear God, and shun evil. When great difficulties come, we can be confident that God is sovereign over all things, so we can trust Him.
