Paul encourages the Thessalonian church amidst their suffering, emphasizing that God is just and that justice will be seen in comforting the afflicted, and in punishing the wicked in judgment. This will ultimately lead to glory for those who hold fast to their faith.

We left off with David on the run from Saul. This is a period of time where David is going to be tested greatly. He’s been anointed king already, but it will be approximately 15 years between his anointing and his ascension to the throne. But they’re not wasted years. They’re years that God is preparing and teaching David many things that will be of value for David leading a nation as their King. We’ll see in our study today…
